What is included in your standard package? What add-ons do the more expensive packages include?

The standard package includes an online gallery of highlights for you to share easily. I do offer adds such as film photography, a second shooter or videography. After the event you have the opportunity to purchase prints and albums.


Can I customise a package to fit my needs?

I can absolutely work with you to do a custom package.


How much do extra hours cost?

Extra hours are $500 per hour (this covers the editing time as well, more hours equals more photos :)


Do you offer retouching, colour adjustment, or other corrective services? Are those included or an additional charge?

I edit all the images to my colouring style. I can offer photo manipulation if there are specific issues, this would be quoted on a per photo basis.

If in the family photos there is no photo where everyone has their eyes open I would do this complementary, I can also smooth skin key portraits if needed but above that I would need to charge per photo.


Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

I don't charge a travel fee for the south island. I like road trips! For the North Island I charge for flights, rental car and two nights of accommodation.


How much of a deposit do you require? When is it due?

I charge a 50% booking fee to reserve your event date, full payment is required 2 months before.


What is your refund or cancellation policy?

The deposit is not refunded due to potentially missing out on other bookings on your date. If you cancelled more than a year out though, I would be able to make an exception.

CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT OF BOOKING
Where the Client cancels or postpones a Booking appointment outside of one month of the shoot date, the deposit will not be refunded or reimbursed. Any other payments made by the Client will be refunded.
If the booking is cancelled within one month of the shoot date a 50% refund will be given to the client from the full payment. If the Client wishes to postpone the Booking within one month of the shoot date the Photographer will work with the Client to organise a new date. If a new date can not be organised due to the Photographer’s schedule, the booking will be cancelled and a 50% refund will be provided from the full payment.
The client and the photographer agree that cooperation and punctuality are essential to accomplish the goals and wishes of
all parties. Shooting commences at the scheduled start time and ends at the scheduled end time. If the client does not arrive at
the appointed time for the event(s), shooting will commence at the scheduled start time and end at the scheduled end time. All additional time beyond the scheduled end time will be billed to the client.
